Description
In 2015 the De Longhi Group entrusted the Studio Signorotto & Partners with the task of expanding its headquarters, comprising offices, relax areas, one auditorium with foyer, furnished terraces, new board rooms and management offices, the company restaurant and a bar.
The biggest challenge in designing the safety lighting system concerned the hall, a 12m-high environment characterized by two mirrored glass facades in tensile structure, inserted in reinforced concrete frames covered in white metal. The hall is crossed by suspended walkways in reinforced concrete covered with wooden and anthracite aluminum slats connecting the different floors of the headquarters.
The luminaires of the safety lighting system had to blend perfectly with the architecture of the ceiling and be as indistinguishable as possiblw from ordinary lighting. At the same time, they had to be able to illuminate adequately both the floor and the walkways, located at 4 and 8 meters in height. A new concept of lamp, a custom product, came into existence in which the electronics is enclosed inside a black metal shell. The main characteristic of this product is the possibility to choose between two lenses, one suitable for lower ceilings, the other for higher ceilings, therefore obtaining, in every situation, the illumination level required by the norm.
In the meeting room the the gray version of Vialed Evo and the Astra signalling lamp were used. Their sober design does not disturb the overall appearance of the environment, helping to retain all its architectural quality, while the emergency devices, with their dimmable light output, catch the attention only in case of danger.
The Vialed Evo are also used in the north tower staircase, which has the same characteristics as the facade of the entrance hall, but in this case we find a suspended staircase with glass parapet connecting all the office floors and the furnished terrace to the foyer and the auditorium on the roof. In order to guarantee easy maintainance of the emergency lighting system, a 230V central battery system with DALI control was chosen.

Description
Palazzo Portinari Salviati is a jewel of history and architecture, famous not only for having housed Beatrice, Dante Alighieri's muse, but also for hosting the works of her contemporary architects and artists, such as Michelozzo and Giuliano da Sangallo.
Located 300m from Piazza della Signoria, inside are suites, apartments, a bistrot-bar, a spa and a starred restaurant.
When designing the emergency lighting installation of these areas, products with simple, linear shapes were chosen in order to properly merge with the surrounding ambient, thus obtaining harmonious uniformity while guaranteeing excellent lighting performances.
Being painted with frescos, one of the rooms adjacent to the Cortile degli Imperatori would not allow the installation of emergency luminaires neither on the walls nor on the ceiling. Therefore, a custom floor lamp, containing a lighting element and a signalling luminaire for escapeways, was specifically designed for this room.

Description
The Palazzo Ducale is one of the biggest and incredible architectures of the Italian Renaissance. It housed Federico da Montefeltro and, later on, the Della Rovere's.
In 1912, headquartered inside the Palazzo, was created the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, which led to the renewal of the entire complex. The opening in July 2023 of the new rooms at the 2nd floor, areas never used as part of the museum, completes the reconversion into a cultural center of the entire building started in 1912.
A fundamental part of the renewal work was the updating of the existing emergency lighting installation. Among the emergency luminaires of choice we find the Prodigy Wall lamps, with white finishing, installed on walls or busbars for ordinary lighting.
The busbar solution has been adopted to preserve the original vaulted ceiling, which could not be altered in any ways, thus obtaining an emergency installation with no impact on the ambient.
For safety signalling, the Lyra Evo for wall installation and the Flag for recessed installation were chosen. The Flag is a panel luminaire with high luminosity and uniformity perfectly suited to blend in the surroundings. These are choices oriented to both technical and formal quality, where the aesthetics of the luminaries is characterized by simple forms.
With the new lighting project, based on the DALI protocol, the museum has now an emergency lighting system which will be easy to maintain over time.

Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary company of Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ), a global developer and owner of solar and energy storage plants, inaugurated in 2024 new operational headquarters in via Bernina 7, Milan.
This new site has obtained the highest certifications in terms of sustainability.
In the ample area available, to facilitate condivision and team building, 58 open-space offices were built along with several meeting rooms, phone booths, two living rooms with entertainments for employees and a big terrace where a stunning view of Milan can be enjoyed.
In an environment where every detail was carefully chosen, the emergency lighting system design also played a very important role. The emergency luminaires of choice were Vialed Evo and Vialed Evo Minibox. Their minimal design allows them to blend in the different environments, like they are part of the ordinary lighting. To illuminte escapeways and safety exits the Astra signalling lamps were chosen with visibility of 32m.
For easy maintainance, a 230V Central Battery System was chosen to supply all the emergency lights. The space planning and interior design was made by DEGW, a brand of the Lombardini22 Group specializing in integrated design of work areas. In harmony with the movement of solar light, they created environments which give a dynamic and sinuous feeling. The realization of the project was carried out by Biesse, a general contractor specializing in Office Fit Out and sustainable, green, plug&play spaces specifically realized to fullfill the customer’s needs.

Description
That of Ascoli Piceno, dating back in 1961, is one of the most ancient Diocesan Museums in Italy.
Diocesan museums are places that host artworks which cannot be kept anymore in the churches they come from, either for historical reasons or for tragic events such as earthquakes or floods. Such artworks, invaluable fo historical and cultural reasons, need particular care in order to be preserved in the best possible way, while respecting their uniqueness and elegance.
That's why, as Dr. Marco Lattanzi, the museum's director, says, they are moved to a special place which eventually becomes a museum.
The aspects that contribute to the protection and preservation of such important items include the safety systems. With this goal in mind, the emergency lighting choice of design was an extra low voltage system in order to reduce the risk for people and objects. The lighting project took into consideration both the function of the various spaces and the desired atmosphere and combined them with the technical advantages of the lighting devices. Small, aesthetically refined emergency luminaires have been chosen to be discrete and minimally invasive.

Description
Roadhouse Restaurant is the first steakhouse chain in Italy.
On June 8th 2021 the 160th restaurant of the chain was inaugurated in Via Giovanni Perari, Perugia, in the Pian di Massiano area, close to the stadium and the sport hall. The restaurant – first of its kind in the Umbria region - covers a surface of nearly 500 square meters.
Installing the safety emergency lighting has been particularly easy thanks to the mounting characteristics of the chosen luminaires.
Lyra Evo's were used for signalling the escape routes and the emergency exits while Vialed Evo's were selected for illuminating the areas.
Not only were these products chosen for their ease of installation, but also for their design and their lighting performance. Vialed Evo belongs to a family of LED emergency luminaires with zero visual impact, designed to satisfy all the regulatory requirement and installation needs. With its choice of symmetrical or asymmetrical lenses, it can shape the light beam in different ways in order to best illuminate the desired area. In correspondance to the escapeways and exit ways the design choice fell on a high luminous efficiency product such as the Lyra Evo.

Description
On March 30th 2023, in the presence of the Presidente della Repubblica, the new Centro Nazionale della Lega del Filo d’Oro was inaugurated, which unifies in a single site a large number of services, ambulatories, offices and residences previously distributed in the territory of Osimo, with the aim of improving the efficiency and the management of the Onlus' structures, by means of a welcoming and functional complex able to blend in the surrounding landscape.
The Lega del Filo d’Oro is an institution, a reference point in Italy for assisting, educating, rehabilitating, valorizing of the residual potential and supporting the research of the maximum autonomy for the deafblind and multiple psychosensory impaired. A guideline with the external world for the deafblind.
People of all ages with this kind of problems and/or disabilities have broad-spectrum visual disturbances. Therefore the need arose, for the rooms where recreational, recovery and rehabilitational activities are usually carried out, for emergency products which would not disturb sight, yet compliant to the existing norm. It was clear from the beginning that the products had to be chosen in order to have a low-luminance and avoid the glaring effect: this kind of light comfort is part of Linergy's DNA.
Indeed, the emergency luminaires of choice for the hospital and activity rooms are characterized by a lens able to diffuse light without the glaring effect. Considering the dimensions of the complex, these luminaires are driven by the Central Battery System Spy Center Evo, a modular and expandable supply and control system with intuitive user interface.

Description
After a major 8-month-long restyling, the Grand Hotel Palace, opened in 1968 and located in via Lungomare Vanvitelli, officially reopened. Located inside an ancient 16th century noble palace and very close to some of the major artistic and cultural attractions of the city, the new hotel is characterized by classical and elegant yet technological and eco-friendly ambients, able to offer customers comfort and functionality. The structure has now many innovative and comfortable elements, having eliminated the single rooms in favour of bigger quarters.
To safely illuminate every escapeway around the hotel without neglecting aesthetics, design and efficiency: these are the factors that influenced the designers in selecting technologies and products which could best integrate in this prestigious context. The Vialed Wall was chosen for the common spaces.
Designed exclusively for wall installations, with a light diffusion towards the floor, its optics allow to regulate the beam in three different angles. The aluminum body in the white version blends prefectly in the ambients where it is installed.

Description
The complex of the new Islamic Cultural Center is made up of six buildings and develops around a central square, with the Mosque at the core. The specificity of the place chosen for the Mosque lays exactly in its "lack of specificiy", having been situated in an industrial area of Lubiana, once abandoned and forgotten. The buildings are oriented towards the external world, as a sign of opennes, and allow the Mosque to be seen from all the sides through the gaps between each building. Next to the hall of prayer and the 40m tall minaret are offices, classrooms, a laundry, a gym, a restaurant, a basketball field, quarters for the Islamic clergy and an underground parking lot with 110 car spaces.
In order to conjugate aesthetics with technology, for the emergency lighting installation, Vialed Evo, in places like the locker rooms or the offices, and the signalling luminaire Lyra Evo, in places like the auditorium, were chosen.

Description
The area of intervention is part of the extraordinary Chianti Classico context, with its hills renown for wine-making, halfway between Firenze and Siena. Tradition mandates that the winery must be protected, that's the reason why the architectural studio, at its first approach with this kind of project, proposed a totally hypogeal building, thus creating an architecture partially hidden to view, well harmonized with the traditional context, camouflaged in the territory. A slanting light reflects from the facade, whereas light is suffused through the areas dedicated to wine-making (la barricaia). The roof has circular apertures, thirty holes on the green hanging cover, giving a zenithal light which makes the internal areas surprisingly luminous.
In a project like this, guided by aesthetics and design, the emergency lighting devices had to be adequate. Given the dimensions of the building, to monitor the working of the 300 luminaires installed in the winery, the PRO II central supervision system was chosen for its capability to handle more than 1200 luminaires. Specifically, the Lyra Evo signalling lamp was used in the barricaia, where the wine vats are located, in the production area and in the offices, in order to show clearly the locations of the escapeways.

Description
Born from the ashes of two schools collapsed during the earthquake in Emilia in 2012, nicknamed "La Balena" as a metaphore of the Whale in the Pinocchio fairy tale, defined the most beautyful nursery in the world, the school of Guastalla is a masterful example of architecture merging the best design principles in terms of sustainability and functionality.
The complex has been designed to be built with natural materials, fruit of recycling and with low environmental impact; in particular, the bearing structure is made of frames in laminated wood, a safe material ideal for maintaining the thermal insulation of the building. The high insulation, the optimal distribution of transparent surfaces, the use of state-of-the-art systems for rain water collection and the photovoltaic panels on the roof, reduce to a minimum the usage of mechanical means to satisfy the energy needs of the building.
Such specific design requirements also meant special care for the project of the emergency lighting system of the wide areas of the buiding. One of the most important goals was to illuminate in a safe and immediate way the esacapeways of the various areas of the nursery. Lyra Evo and Prodigy were the chosen luminaires. The first one, thanks to its numerous accessories, has been installed flag-mount in almost all areas of the nursery. It has been used, in particular, close to all common areas and escapeways, in order to indicate clearly and in an immediate way the escape routes. The emergency illumination, on the other hand, has been realized with the Prodigy emergency lamp. With a modern and minimalist design, it is perfect for the rooms in wood and glass of the new nursery: this compact lamp, indeed, perfectly blends in all classrooms and the various sections of the building.
